Description

This Autographed 8.35x9.5 3 Page NBC Dated November 14, 1952 Contract has been Personally Signed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This item is 100% Authentic to include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) / hologram by Beckett Authentication Services. The authenticity can be verified on Beckett Authentication Services website. Typed Letter Signed, twice as "Frank Lloyd Wright”, once as “The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation”. Additionally signed by an NBC executive. The contract, in letter form, constituting an agreement between Wright and NBC, in part, “As an independent contractor, you shall furnish us your personal services and all script material for an interview of you wherein you shall discuss philosophically matters which you have learned in the course of your life and your views concerning them for recording by a sound-on-film motion picture, to be produced by and for us, with an exhibition running time of approximately 28-30 minutes.” The interview, for which Wright accepted the pay of $1,000, was likely the NBC production of a conversation between Wright and Hugh Downs, "Conversations with Elder Wise Men - A Visit with Frank Lloyd Wright", filmed in Chicago on November 23, 1952 and aired on May 17, 1953.
